2005 Results

Our first race. Engine Break in, Chassis set up and brake bedding on first few laps—so we got a few things wrong—had a lot of fun and looking forward to the next event.

After really heavy downpour and no rain tires we opted to sit this one out.

Clearly we learned a lot. Car and driver were great and could have had a podium finish apart from a brush with a hard object. 4th fastest lap was a real bonus

Summit Point—April 24/25th 2004 (26th)

Lime Rock—May 8/9th 2004 (13th Place and fourth fastest lap)

Summit Point—July 17/18th, 2004 (DNS)

What a great race—the last 10 laps were excellent with the #84 car changing position with the #25 car numerous times. Fastest lap again proved he can drive this thing taking nearly three second off his best time there

Lime Rock —August 7/8th, 2004 (6th place)

Watkins Glen — October 17th, 2004 (10th place)

Our last race of the season and the first time at the Glen. Magnificent track and a great race. Qualified 10th, got taken out about 3/4 of the way through, lost a number of spots, then battled back to finish tenth.

2004 Results

Summit Point—April 23/24th 2005 (14th)

First race of the 2005 season. Not a great result but a good days racing and plenty more to come from the #84 car—and driver

First time at the track and qualified 6th in class with 4th place and fastest lap during race 1. Qualified 5th in race 2 then topped off the day with 3rd place finish

 

Pocono Double Header—May 14th/15th  2005 (4th & 3rd)

Always great to get back to Lime Rock. Started the day with the car pushing and tires going off and qualified 9th. Pushed hard during the 20 lap race and eventually crossed the line in 7th place. Turns out the front right tie rod was practically bent double thanks to a little push off the track at Pocono.

Lime Rock—May 27th & 28th (7th Place)

Summit Point—June 18th (14th Place)

Lime Rock—August 6th (6th Place)

Must be our bogey track—finished 14th. What can I say.

A great weekend of racing. Even though we suffered some bad luck on the way to the track with our trailer unhitching itself from the new tow truck.

Did a PB and getting close to a sub 1:05.
